FILMING YOUR ENTRY...
Film your entry in landscape mode. This will help the judge to see you and your horse more clearly and award marks for each movement.
If you film your entry in portrait mode, the judge may not be able to see you and your horse clearly. This can result in lower marks than you deserve.
WHERE TO VIDEO FROM...
Always video from just behind the C marker. Please make sure you are in a straight line with the A marker
PACED AND MANNERED CLASSES
Always video from the mid point on the long side (B or E whichever is best for you)
If in doubt, send us a sample video and we will let you know if it will be ok to submit.
Filming your entry in the winter can be tricky.
Make sure there is enough light so that the judge can clearly see you and your horse at all times. It we can only see your horse’s legs, then your mark will be affected.
Also, be aware where the sun is (if it is out). Filming into a low sun is a challenge and we may not be able to clearly see you and your horse at all times. This can also affect your marks.
If in doubt, send us a PM with a sample video and we will let you know if it will be ok to submit.
Dark videos can be lightened to some extent by Jo but will incur an additional fee of £3 per film. Please message us to discuss.
